Wool and Willow is a new shop in the Oxfordshire market town of Wallingford, between Oxford and Reading. We are passionate about beautiful yarn – and willow products – and sell local, British and fair trade yarns, as well as better known brands (see our range). Wool and Willow promotes the crafts of knitting and willow work, a natural combination. We started with a stall at the Wallingford Local Producers’ Market, selling local, British and fair trade yarns and kits at the beginning of 2011, and on 1st October 2011, moved into our retail premises within Just Trading, Wallingford’s premier fair trade and organic outlet.
We opened for business on the 3rd of October 2011, and are enjoying welcoming seasoned knitters, beginners, and anyone interested in beautiful willow products and yarn. We are running regular courses in yarn-related crafts and willow work.
